We continue our focus on worker and workplace safety with a look at the third poster in our series. As part of the Frontier Industrial Corp. commitment to worker safety and workplace safety, we developed our SAFETY CHECK PPE Posters. The Safety Check poster series includes a total of five posters, each highlighting a particular field operation and the appropriate PPE required for the job.
In the series, FIC highlights General Laborer, Burner (steel demolition), Elevated Operator, Asbestos Abatement, and a Decommissioning Worker (hazardous materials). The posters outline all the required safety gear works need and use the headline “Safety – the greatest tool on the job!” to help remind workers that safety comes first.
When it comes to work above the ground, we look to our Elevated Operator/Laborer PPE poster. There are nine (9) core pieces of PPE (personal protective equipment) that should always be in use. Hard hat, Safety glasses, Hearing protection (when necessary), Safety harness, High-visibility shirt, Safety vest, Leather / Work gloves, Work pants, and Safety toe work boots.
