Frontier Industrial Corp., (FIC) a specialty industrial demolition contractor, announced plans to relocate company headquarters to offices in the 500 Seneca Street building in the Hydraulics District of Buffalo New York. The company will be moving from offices on the 4th floor of 26 Mississippi Street in the Historic Cobblestone District – space the company has occupied for the past four years.
The new offices, which are currently under construction, are located on the 5th floor at 500 Seneca and include 7500 square feet in the building. A total of 15 employees will be moving into the new offices. FIC anticipates hiring more staff for the new office in 2015 to keep pace with business growth in Western New York and throughout North America.
“We’re excited about the new offices and the location.” commented David Franjoine, CEO for FIC. “This building is located in a prime spot connecting the thriving Larkinville to the core downtown area. We’ll still be headquartered in Buffalo and have access to everything the City offers.”
500 Seneca is a dynamic mixed-use development that involves the adaptive reuse of the historic former factory and offices of the F.N. Burt Company, which at one time was the world’s largest manufacturer of paper boxes. The building also served as headquarters and a manufacturing facility for New Era Cap Company.
The building features over 300,000 square feet of space for Class A offices, residential apartments, a large multi-story interior green atrium area, a rooftop garden, on site fitness center, café, restaurant and distillery.
Both 26 Mississippi Street and 500 Seneca Street properties are development projects of the Frontier Group of Companies. The Frontier Group of Companies, a sister-company of FIC, will also have office in 500 Seneca Street.
